Noticeboard

Named Accountable GP for All Patients

Every patient has been allocated a named GP who is responsible for your overall care at the practice. If you would like to know who your named GP is, please contact reception and they will be happy to inform you.

If you wish to change the name of your accountable GP, please let us know and we will make every  reasonable effort to accommodate this request.

Having a named accountable GP does not restrict your entitlement to see any doctor in the practice.

Since our telephones are very busy in the early morning, we ask you to telephone for test results (eg blood, urine, x-ray) after 3pm each day.

Please allow 5 working days after your blood test before phoning us for the result.

To ensure confidentiality, we only release results to the patient, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. Please be mindful that the receptionists are only allowed to inform patients of the doctors comments and nothing else in relation to the test or result. If you have any queries regarding the test results please ask the receptionist to book a telephone call with a GP.

Sensitive information or results may not be given out and may require an appointment for review with a doctor.

If the hospital requested your bloods, you will need to contact your specialist for the results.
